Canada Visitor Visa Requirements

Bangladeshi citizens are required to obtain a Visitor Visa (Temporary Resident Visa - TRV) to enter Canada. The following outlines the necessary steps and requirements:

2. Required Documents

  • Valid Passport: Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your planned entry date.
  • Photographs: Two recent passport-sized photos meeting Canadian visa photo specifications.
  • Proof of Financial Support: Bank statements, pay stubs, or financial affidavits demonstrating adequate funds.
  • Purpose of Travel: Documents such as a travel itinerary, hotel reservations, or an invitation letter from a Canadian resident.
  • Supporting Documents: Any additional documents as specified by the visa office, tailored to your individual circumstances.

3. Application Process

  • Online Application: Complete the application form [IMM 5257] available on the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) website.
  • Document Submission: Upload all required documents electronically through your IRCC account.
  • Fees: Pay the visa application fee of CAD $100. If biometrics are required, an additional fee of CAD $85 applies.

4. Biometrics

After submitting your application, you may be instructed to provide biometrics (fingerprints and photograph). Visit the nearest Visa Application Centre (VAC) to complete this step.

5. Processing Time

6. Passport Submission
